Meet Kelly Teal

Who am I? In everyday life, I’m many things: a grad student pursuing a master’s degree in functional and holistic nutrition; a freelance journalist and consultant; a wife to the coolest man in the world; a doggie mom to the two most adorable mutts in the world; a budding woodworker; a workout enthusiast; NuCamp adventurer; instigator of crazy hikes; a mountain and gravel biker; a recovering perfectionist; a voracious consumer of dark chocolate and third-wave coffee; a MotoGP fanatic; a lover of puns and dad jokes; a sucker for a throaty muscle car engine; a prolific utterer of profanities (no superhuman perfection here!).

Beneath all of that lies my True Self, a woman in endless pursuit of evolution, embracing her purpose as a spiritual healer, guide, and teacher. The more I work with my soul, Higher Self, and God to remove the layers of fear and darkness that have piled up over this lifetime and past incarnations, and the more the Divine rewards those efforts by unveiling more psychic capabilities, the more the real Kelly emerges. Is that scary? Absolutely. My ego wants to constantly freak out about the loss of its identity and about coming off as a kook in a society that devalues or even mocks spiritual gifts. But, also, deeper down, am I right where I need to be, going places I haven’t even envisioned? Unequivocally yes.

My spiritual philosophy continues to grow as I learn and experience more. Here’s a little bit of where I stand at this moment: So many of us know we are here for a reason but have set aside or even buried that calling in favor of other pursuits. I’m not knocking being human. We have to make money — that’s the currency on which this 3D world runs. We need relationships and community. But as spiritual beings in human bodies, it’s also vital to feed our souls and learn why we’re here; that adventure alone can take us farther than any job or person, and it doesn’t have to leave us in financial or other poverty. For many people, answering the call may not even require major life changes, just the removal of fears, traumas, and other darkness they can’t see or haven’t been able to get rid of on their own, so they can be their best selves. It all depends on what your soul agreed to before you came here.

For other people, the journey will mean making huge life shifts. We do this with assistance from our teachers, who have gone down the path ahead of us, from our guides, from God. Again, though, this is not everyone’s calling. Taking advantage of spiritual healing will not necessarily mean you will find out that you’re supposed to change everything. (You were holding your breath fearing just that, weren’t you? I get it!) And if you come from a religious background, as I do, that tells you not to seek answers within yourself, pursuing spiritual healing is extra difficult. All I can recommend is to listen to your heart — not your head, not anyone else — to discern what it tells you. If you feel pulled toward spiritual healing, that’s your soul talking. Of course, if you’re mired in unresolved trauma, it may be nearly impossible to hear your heart. I was unable to access my heart or any of my spiritual gifts (which I didn’t even know exist) until I had my first spiritual awakening in 2010 and subsequently did my trauma work. (I do not claim to remove trauma, but I am able to alleviate and help release energies that underlie unwanted, unhelpful behaviors and responses, easing the trauma experience and promoting progress.) Once I moved through the major energies holding me back in every way, so much became clear, and I was able to begin healing, starting with myself. Now I can bring spiritual healing to you wherever you are in your journey. And that makes me grateful for everything I’ve gone through.

p.s. Down the road, I will add a blog to this site, as well as a products page featuring items crafted and handmade by me. Those will include pendulums, bangles, incense holders, vases, and anything else made from the wood of Mother Earth that Divine Light inspires me to create and imbue with healing energy.
